This a splendid piece of artwork. I love that you focused on character and left the background sketchy and untouched. No many artist have balls to do so! They tend to finish everything, regardless of final effects ;P 
Oh, and I know. This one is from Tezuka's Jungle Emperor Leo, the awesome almost-3d-rotation scene, am I right? =)
